Having had a passion for cooking since childhood I started my cooking career after completing a degree in business by attending the renowned Ballymaloe Cookery Schoool in Co.Cork. I went on to work in many great kitchens including the former Michelin starred Roscoff in Belfast and the wonderful Michelin starred River Cafe in London. I also had a great stall at St. George’s Market in Belfast on Saturdays selling preserves and cakes.
My passion is for using local, organic and seasonal produce. I like food to be simple but nutritious and packed with flavour. I also have a passion for baking and using traditional recipes that are hard to beat, but also finding and new and innovative ways to cook from other cultures.
I have continued training and learning throughout my career at numerous great schools including the Peggy Porschen Academy in London, Squires and Bread Ahead also in London.
