High in folic acid, iron, magnesium, potassium, vitamin C, Vitamin B6, anti inflammatory, boosts energy and helps burn calories, to mention a few.
It is absolutely delicious freshly juiced and the colour alone makes you feel better. I’m currently juicing beetroot as often as I can. You do need a proper juicer ( as opposed to a blender for beetroot ), I have an ancient one that’s still going strong.
This is not so much a recipe as a suggestion.
- 2 medium Beetroot, washed and peeled
- 1 or 2 small apples, washed
- 1 knob of ginger
- 3 sticks celery, washed
- 1/2 cucumber, washed
Juice all together and enjoy. This also keeps well in the fridge for a few days.
