This is an in-depth class on cake making and icing with buttercream.
In this class I will demonstrate two different sponge cakes – a classic chocolate cake and a lemon and raspberry sponge cake – chocolate ganache buttercream and vanilla swiss meringue buttercream.
You will make your own 6″ chocolate layer cake and chocolate ganache buttercream to decorate and will have this to take home.

- Layering and masking a cake with buttercream
- Piping techniques using different nozzles
- Using a stencil to decorate
