This is an in-depth class on cake making and icing with buttercream.
In this class I will demonstrate two different sponge cakes using two different techniques – a classic chocolate cake and a lemon and raspberry sponge cake, I will then make and decorate the cakes with chocolate ganache buttercream and a vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream.
You will make your own 6″ chocolate layer cake and chocolate ganache buttercream to decorate and will have this to take home.

Making a classic sponge cake using different techniques
Classic and swiss meringue buttercream
Layering and masking a cake with buttercream
Simple Piping techniques
Using a stencil to decorate
Suitable for all levels including absolute beginners.
