This is an in-depth class on cake making and icing with buttercream.
In this class I will demonstrate two different sponge cakes – a classic chocolate cake and a lemon and raspberry sponge cake – chocolate ganache buttercream and vanilla swiss meringue buttercream.
You will make your own 6″ chocolate layer cake and chocolate ganache buttercream to decorate and will have this to take home.

Making a classic sponge cake
Classic and swiss meringue buttercream
Layering and masking a cake with buttercream
Using a stencil to decorate
Suitable for all levels including absolute beginners.
