This is a hands-on class focusing on some of the lovely traditional Irish baking handed down by generations of women who baked every day.
I will demonstrate a number of recipes including:
- Soda farls cooked on a griddle
- Potato apple bread ( a Co.Armagh speciality using Bramley apples )
- Wheaten bread,
- Fruit soda bread
- Buttermilk scones
- Irish Teacake
You will be making the soda farls and fruit soda or wheaten and will have these to take home.
